Answers

  1.   How do I use Easy Reviews to get Google reviews?
  A.   Of course the number one thing you can do to get a lot of good reviews is to provide really great service. Even then, people are generally reluctant to leave reviews because it takes time and effort. There are a few things you can do to increase the number of reviews you receive.

  1. First of all, make sure your Easy Reviews Testimonial Generator link is prominently displayed on your website. Visitors should not have to search around to find this link, it should be "in their face". Consider putting this in the banner of every page, not just on the home page of your site. Make sure the size and contrast of the link is such that it is easy to spot. Often image links are more noticeable than textual links.
  2. Try to make the link text inviting but not commanding. People don't want to be told what to do as in "Give Us a Review". They prefer to do this of their accord based on their appreciation of receiving good service. Links such as "We'd Love Your Feedback" tend to elicit a greater response.
  3. If you have an opportunity to prompt the user to leave a review this is often fruitful. For example, if you send your customers a follow-up email after each engagement it is a good idea to include a request for a review. Something like "It has been our pleasure to serve you. We really value feedback from our customers and would appreciate it if you could use the review link in the banner of our website to let us know how we are doing." Your technicians may even be able to have such an email sent automatically from your back-office systems.
  4. As per Google's Terms of Service you are not allowed to pay for reviews. Nevertheless, there may be times when you can forego payment for service and suggest a review in return. For example, your customer may say "I really appreciate all of the time you have spent advising me, can I pay you for your time?" Your response could be "No, payment is not necessary, however, if you are so inclined we always appreciate getting positive reviews. You can find a link on the home page of our website that you can use to review our service."
  5. Be sure to have a mobile-friendly version of your website which includes a review link facilitated by Easy Reviews. You can even direct your customers to your mobile site before they leave your place of business and invite them to leave a review.
  6. If you have occasion to send your customers written invoices or other material by mail, consider directing then to your review link from this content as well.
